ESG Commitments

Our Mission Statement:

We are hanging our hats on our commitment toward a net-zero digital communications industry, by embedding ESG into the hearts and minds of our company. We are making this commitment to our stakeholders because our customers care, our investors care, and the people care.

We are doing this because we want to represent a company that is doing good things for our people, our planet, and our future.

We will work toward integrating positive environmental and social initiatives and considerations wherever possible throughout our operations; and will encourage our customers, suppliers and our people to do the same.

What are we actually doing?

Environmental Commitments

  • Build a carbon calculator. Using accurate, available information and applying statistics from attendee surveys and site-specific energy consumption data, the calculator has been designed to measure the carbon footprint of an in-person event, as well as the specific reductions in CO2 that can be achieved by moving 25% of attendees online.
  • We are structuring incentives for our employees that encourage net zero practices.
  • Protect and restore more than we use.

Social Justice

  • One day a year for staff to complete charity work and give back to local communities.
  • Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Policy. We will make it our long term goal to ensure our team is not underrepresented. We’ll do this by staying aware of taking actions to minimise any underrepresentation of backgrounds, perspectives and experiences within Glisser. (See our DEI policy for more information and measurement).
  • Quarterly staff get-togethers to build relationships and empower colleagues to be the best version of themselves.

Governance Considerations

  • Offering clients a matched % donation to charity when signing with Glisser - with a yearly total tally of Glisser + client together.
  • ESG oversight. The board is responsible for ensuring that the company’s strategy is appropriate, takes account of material risks, and is likely to deliver results.
