Power User Series (#13) - Making Your Event On-Demand

Your event is over... now what? Your Zoom Meetings are closed. Your event sessions have been ended. People have already turned off their computers. But no matter what, your attendees will always want to refer back to your content days, sometimes weeks after your event ends.

Your Event is Over... Now What?

Glisser allows you to keep your event page live and accessible for certain periods of time. The On-Demand event can be held on the exact same URL as your Live event, or you can make a duplicate of your event and give it a separate URL if you want to segment your attendees a little more.

In an On-Demand session your attendees can continue to interact with your presentations and all of the same features they would have access to in a live session, while still giving you powerful insights that the Glisser Platform provides.

How to Push Your Event On-Demand

For an on-demand event, all you need is a recording of your presentation to be uploaded on Vimeo or Youtube. From there, you copy and paste your video link into the "Livestream" Settings.

Now all you have to do, instead of clicking "Present From Start", you click "Publish (Present to the End)".

Now all your content will be available to anyone who clicks on the session, and your attendees will be able to watch your video as they follow along to the slides.

This feature also makes it so that this session isn't under the "Live Now" tab on the main event page, but will still display a red "Live" sticker to signify it is accessible for viewing.

On-Demand is a helpful format that doesn't put pressure on your audience to be online at a specific time while still giving you analytics you need. Attendees will still be able to answer polls, like slides, download slides, all at their own leisure.
