It’s your content - use it to build your audience and connections. Experience the feature that will change your way of thinking about online presentations
In such a connected world, it’s no surprise that so many people are now putting their presentations online. SlideShare contains several million online presentations from all sorts of presenters - teachers, trainers, salespeople and thought-leaders. Some companies regularly use sites like SlideShare to host all sorts of content, since PowerPoint presentations are so easy to create and they’re a great mix of visuals and text in an easy to follow format.
SlideShare is a great way to publish existing presentations online, and incorporates a range of useful features including the ability to comment and share slides. However, it is not a product designed for the live environment. If you share your SlideShare link as you begin presenting, your audience can read ahead and get to important information before you want them to.
Glisser allows you to create online presentations, but share slides live as they are being presented, so your audience is always focused on the matter in hand. Additionally, once you’ve presented your slides, you can embed them into website just like SlideShare. Plus all of the interactions that are made by your audience when you presented in the room, are all included when you put your presentation online. That way, you can display the thoughts and views of your audience, alongside your slides.
Taking things another step further, by uploading your slide decks on the Glisser platform, you are able to incorporate a wide range of data and feedback capture elements. By simply dragging and dropping poll slides between your original presentation slides, you can require viewers of your content to answer your question before they can move on. Questions can take the form of multiple choice, ratings out of five or ten, or free text responses.
Additionally, you can capture your viewer's email address at any point in the presentation. Right up the front before they can read on. Midway through the online presentation - perhaps just before you reveal some crucial information. Or at the end of the slides - so that they are required to provide this information to be able to download and keep your content. In each case, you are incentivising your viewers into providing information (email, data or feedback) in return for accessing your content.
