Yesterday we released Glisser Elements version 0.0.40, bringing some nice improvements to the Q&A (commentFeed) element.
- Added names to Q&A (if enabled for the Glisser session) - initially this will simply display the attendee’s first name, but more detailed profiles will follow soon after.
- Added the ability to silently pass an attendee’s profile when onboarding - the profile can contain their first name, last name, company, location, linkedin profile URL, and avatar URL. As mentioned earlier, we only display the first name in the Q&A element so far, but more will follow.
- Slightly tweaked the Q&A (CommentFeed) layout to better utilise screen space, also now ensuring that any modals stay within the space allocated to the element.
- Fixed an issue that could occur if a session’s ID Capture type was never changed.
Next up we’ll be looking to build upon the named Q&A feature by adding more fields and clickable profiles, alongside introducing a new attendeeList element.
