Accessing a Glisser Event
This article will provide a step-by-step guide on the best way of accessing a Glisser event.
First off, how to sign in to your Glisser event
If you have been directed to an ‘Enter Glisser code to join’ page, you will need to enter the URL code sent to you, it will be the characters after the /, for example, if your URL is glsr.live/yourcode then you must enter yourcode. The code is case insensitive.
Once you have entered this code into space provided and clicked join, there are a number of steps to access the event, as outlined below.
If your event organiser has added a pin to the event, there should have shared this with you, and you will need to use this to access the Glisser event prior to using your unique ID.
Once you have entered your PIN, sent from your event organiser, you will be taken to the Login page. There are a number of options to login, and these are pre-set by the event organiser. An example would be email, name or company. You will be prompted for what to fill on the login page. Please see some examples below;
If you have been asked to create an account, this is because the event organiser has enabled attendee-2-attendee connectivity. You will therefore need to create an account and verify your email address before joining the event. Once in the event, you are able to make yourself anonymous if you would prefer.
If you have already created an account in the past, click sign in and enter your credentials.
You will then be taken to a GDPR page, where you will be asked to agree to your data being used. This is also set by the event organiser, however, an example of the page can be seen below;
Your event organiser may have added in a whitelist to their event, and therefore it is crucial to always use the details they have outlined to log in in order to access the Glisser event.
Depending on whether they have chosen an email address, name or company as the log in page, if you enter something that is not loaded into the whitelist, you will be presented with the below page. You would just need to click Try Again and re-enter the correct details.
