This article covers how to schedule your recordings so that they appear live, using OBS Studio. For this guide, you will need:
Open your OBS Studio app and click on the Cross at the bottom left side to add your recordings. Click Add Media to directly upload a video file.
Once you’ve added your media, change its name from Media Source to something easier to identify.
Your video titles will appear under Sources where you can drag and drop them into the correct order. From here, you can start and stop the stream whenever you’d like the video to play. Be sure to hide the previous video by clicking the eye icon, so that the correct video can be seen.
Set up your Vimeo live stream, as described in our article here: https://www.glisser.com/support/streaming-to-vimeo-live/
Copy the RTMPS URL and Stream Key.
On OBS Studio, click File, then Settings. From there, select Stream to add in your copied information. For Vimeo, make sure to have the service set to Custom. Finally, click Apply and then Ok.
From here you can embed your Vimeo live stream into Glisser, and play each recording as live whenever you’d like.
To add your Vimeo live stream into Glisser, select Edit Session, turn on the Live Stream toggle and then select LIVE STREAM SETTINGS.
Within the Live Stream Settings you must then select Live Broadcast and Vimeo as your source. Copy in your Live Stream URL, select your Master View, then Save.
You can push your videos to Vimeo by clicking Start Streaming on the bottom right of your OBS Studio.
To go live in Glisser select the Live Control Panel then Go Live.
