Ear Nose Throat (ENT) Universe – a combined effort of Open Ocean Group and MedAudPro – was run on Glisser after a rapid turnaround from in-person to hybrid event, with just two weeks’ notice. With 65 sponsors, 100 sessions, 40 on-demand sessions and around 1000 attendees, here Susan explains how they felt afterwards.
“Glisser was incredible! This was our first hybrid event and it went better than we had hoped. For us, Glisser was more valuable than a regular platform like Zoom or MS Teams because it provided a really great experience for both the in-person and online attendees.
Between 60 and 80% of our attendees engaged with our hybrid event by voting, asking a question, liking a comment or downloading slides. We also got around 25% more attendees when using Glisser, and we managed to get our cost per attendee down by 70-80%.
Our event ran across three days and our attendees found it easy to log on and use the platform throughout. Glisser helped us to wow our attendees and make them feel that ENT Universe had invested in their experience. It also set us as a level above other similar organizations.
Our sponsors also felt the event was a success and the 65 sponsor content hubs that we built in the platform looked great. We’ll definitely be doing more Glisser events with sponsors in the future.
We had to switch from in-person to hybrid with just two weeks’ notice but we felt comfortable doing this because our customer success managers were very hands-on and truly the backbone that helped us pivot and deliver a seamless experience!
