The Role

 

Demand for Glisser's virtual and hybrid events solutions continues to grow and as a result we're looking for an energetic and driven Sales Account Executive to join our small and effective UK Sales team. You'll have the opportunity to join and learn from an experienced team with a wealth of knowledge in the event tech space, as well as to capitalise on demand - to educate and ultimately to sell to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Become a Glisser platform expert and champion in order to demonstrate the value of our product to the individual needs and interests of our varied client base
  • New business generation - identifying, prospecting and closing new accounts through a robust sales process with key decision makers
  • Working closely with the UK Head of Sales, SDRs and Customer Success teams, you’ll aim to customise your approach to the needs of each client
  • Full responsibility for an annual quota, with a view to exceeding monthly and quarterly revenue targets
  • Take full ownership of tracking account engagement, growth metrics and keeping our Salesforce CRM system up to date
  • Attend trade shows and conferences, as well as other online events, to network with industry professionals and identify new opportunities 
  • Be a Glisser brand ambassador in everything you do
Who you are

 

  • 3-5 years sales experience in B2B SaaS solutions with Enterprise clients, with a proven track record in prospecting and closing enterprise level accounts. Any previous experience with an event industry tech platform would be desirable.
  • Previous sales process experience managing deals from prospecting to contract
  • Exceptional business acumen, time management and communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in using Salesforce CRM is beneficial
  • Comfortable working with a degree of autonomy in a fast-paced startup environment and towards revenue deadlines
  • Team player and willing to learn
  • Above all, you’ll be a self-starter who is keen to get stuck in!
