The Role

 

To accelerate our revenue growth and continued development of our US Sales team, Glisser is seeking a Director of Sales to lead our team of fun, driven and successful sales professionals. This role is important to Glisser as we fuel our ambitious expansion plans and solidify our presence as the go-to hybrid events solution in the US.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Provide strong leadership, vision and direction to Glisser's growing US sales team
  • Supporting direct reports by participating and leading prospect meetings and engaging other corporate resources as required
  • Ongoing mentoring and development of the sales team, including recruiting, onboarding and training of new Account Executives
  • Conducting weekly forecast meetings. Mentoring direct reports on strategies to drive closure
  • Reporting on all aspects of the business to senior sales management
  • Working closely with marketing and outbound sales development to drive market awareness and build pipeline for the sales team to achieve revenue targets
Who you are

 

  • 10+ years of software sales experience in an individual contributor and management role, including 3-5+ years of sales management experience
  • Proven track record of success, driving revenue expansion against quota and increased profitability in the software industry
  • Currently and successfully leading a team of Account Executives in a B2B SaaS sales environment
  • Excellent presentation and listening skills
  • Ambitious and self-directed with a passion to succeed!
  • Ability to successfully hire and train new Account Executives

How We Work

 

We are currently fully remote, with a view to moving to a hybrid model when appropriate. We expect to meet physically at key times throughout the year, focused on making these sessions a highly effective use of everyone’s time. Day-to-day, we intend to remain largely virtual.
