Which presentation formats can be used?

Last updated: 11 April 2016

Files can be uploaded into Glisser either in PowerPoint format (PPT or PPTX) and PDF. This means that Glisser works with most forms of presentation software that allow you to save your content in one of these formats.

This includes:

  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Microsoft Sway
  • Apple Keynote
  • Google Slides
  • Canva
  • Haiku Deck

Prezi

Glisser can be used with Prezi into two ways. The first is to save your Prezi as a flat file – PPTX or PDF – and upload this in to Glisser. You’ll then need an assistant to pass your audience the flat slides from a separate device as you present using your full animated Prezi. You’ll need to switch to the laptop running Glisser if you want to show Q&A or polls on the main screen.

An alternative is to create polls or audience Q&A sessions in Glisser (just using one PowerPoint slide as an ‘anchor’ to create the session). Then, within your Prezi, create a hyperlink to the relevant Glisser presenter URL. That way, Prezi will open up Glisser for a poll or Q&A session at the correct point in your Prezi.
