Audience Q&A; at Events

An amazing audience Q&A; session – either after a presentation, or without any slides as part of a panel discussion or fireside chat – can really make an event great. The best Q&As; at events are interesting, entertaining, and uncover information that is really valuable to your audience – it is often the only chance they get to choose the topic of discussion.

We’ve all been in audience Q&A; sessions that have fallen flat. The worst Q&As; are those that have no questions because nobody wants to raise their hand. The introverts in the room are likely to have no intention of asking a question, and the roving mic is something to be feared. When somebody does brave it, they usually start speaking before the roving mic arrives so have to start again.
